Living Vicariously through my little girls!

Being a little girl is so much fun, but being a mom to little girls is even more fun yet! Have I told you all how I love living vicariously through them?

Here is a sneak peak at how I live through my little girls...

I recently celebrated my 30th birthday~Guess where I spent it? At American Girl with my 4 year old! I mean eating in the bistro, being sang to and enjoying the best Oreo Milkshake, Mmmm Who wouldn't love that!
I love to sneak the Bugalug clips and pull my bangs back~they are just too cute! (And it teaches my little girls to share...right?)
I love to lay on the floor and play barbies or groovy girls with my little ones! ~ I could only dream of having their wardrobes hehehe

Anyway, am I the only mom to do this? I kind of doubt it!

Hi everyone, I'm Jody! I am the new Marketing and Promotions coordinator for Bugalug!

I am married to the love of my life Trevor. We have 2 little girls ages 2 & 4 and we live in Manitoba, Canada! Some of you may recognize me - I also have my own blog called Mommy Moment, so when I'm not blogging here that is where you can find me!

One of my responsibilities with Bugalug is this blog! I look forward to connecting with you sharing tips and other fun stuff! If you have suggestions for what topics you would like me to blog about just leave me a comment! You can also reach me directly by e-mail at jody@bugalugbaby.com

July 01 was a big deadline date for us, not only did we have to website overhauled but added many new products and features you as customers can now enjoy. Here is a quick breakdown of what to expect:

New Product Launch - whew is a lot of work!

So we are super excited to be launching our new embellished barrettes in July, but whoa!, it is a lot of work. Not only are we adding 12 new jazzed up barrettes to our line up but we are decreasing our regular barrettes to 7 groups from 9, adding and taking out bows, and pony loops, oh plus we are also adding 3 new soother prints. It seems easy but there is the website changes- oh and that is getting a overhaul as well, the catalogue, the order forms, the press releases so everyone knows about it. But we are so excited to offer these new items to our customers so when we hear comments like..."thank you Bugalug for providing such awesome products...." all the hard work has payed off!

July 01 is not only Canada Day but it is also the launch of a whole new look for Bugalug so make sure you check back to see all the changes - we know you will LOVE them!

Now back to work for me ....see you in a couple weeks :)

Summer is coming!

It is May?! Can you believe that, well if you live in Alberta and with this crazy weather lately you would think it is January still, with this wild snow storm every other day type of weather! The plus side is we dread going outside so what do we do ? ~ we work more! With such fierce competition in the hair accessory industry we strive to come out with the newest greatest product first, so we owe a big THANK YOU to mother nature for giving us that gentle nudge to finalize our July product launch! I will tell you one of the new additions coming in July - we will be adding new logo'd silicone grip to all our items (see picture below), so you will always know where you got that amazing clip from. The other addition, well you just have to wait maybe a little longer - sorry!

With that said I must get back to finalizing that new product! Stay tuned.......

Our new blog!

Welcome to our new blog, first off we need to send a huge THANKYOU to Sarah at Daffodil Designs for setting this up and designing it for us. This blog will show you a bit of how Bugalug runs, "behind the scenes" so to speak, with that said it is only fitting to introduce you to the team.

To start we have Sundi Hoffman who is the Founder/President/CEO of Bugalug. She is the wife to Clayton, mom to 2 great boys - Kael (7) and Kohen(4) - yes she owns a hair accessory company and has boys.

Then we have Erica who is Sundi's right arm but also claims the roll of Office Manager, marketing/promotions and various other things. Wife to Nick, mom to 3 lovely girls - Megan (6), Marissa (4) and Madelyn (9 months).

Jody is our Marketing and Promotions coordinator. She is wife to Trevor and busy mom to 2 little girls ages 2 & 4.
They make their home in Manitoba, Canada!
Jody will be the main one updating this blog on behalf of the whole Bugalug Team!

Then we have our production team of 19 stay at home parents, Sarah our design guru, Laura and Leah our amazing PR team, and of course all our hard working fantastic reps across Canada, the USA and our international distributers!
Whew, a lot of people work behind the scenes and we continually add more.

So now that you have met the Bugalug team, we want to meet you!
